We're looking for a talented Production Coordinator/Producer to join our Production team.

Simple is an internationally recognised and awarded full service marketing agency based in Unley.

Our team consists of specialists spanning a wide range of marketing disciplines — from strategy, branding and design through to advertising, photography, film and all things digital.

We understand that great people make great agencies, and right now we're looking for a great Production Coordinator/Producer to join our team and work alongside our Creative, Production and Client Service teams to lead the delivery of our film and photography projects.

Whether you’re a junior-mid level looking to grow, or a senior who can hit the ground running, we’re open to moulding the role around the right person.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be decisive, thrive in a fast-paced environment, positive and solutions-focused with a can-do attitude and a belief that there’s a solution to every challenge. You’ll transform learnings from each project to the next, always finding better ways of working.

Working closely with our internal creative, production, design, and motion teams you ensure that every project delivered is to the highest standard possible, both creatively and commercially. From pitching and scoping right through to dispatch, your projects will be on brand, budget and time.

We’re not looking for someone who checks every box, we’re looking for someone who is invested, passionate and ready to make this role their own. In return, we provide a fun, professional working environment; the opportunity to work on high-profile, interesting and varied projects; and a competitive salary package.

What you'll do:

  • Be involved with all aspects of our pre-production, production and post-production processes, ensuring nothing is left to chance on the day of shooting
  • Work alongside an in-house team of 35+ delivering industry-leading work that is consistently on time, brief and budget
  • Day-to-day external and internal stakeholder communication
  • Possess familiarity of industry talent and suppliers with the ability to identify and work effectively with new suppliers when required
  • Negotiate with talent and suppliers and develop contracts and agreements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to scope projects and prepare commercial proposals
  • Create and manage timelines and budgets, ensuring the team has visibility on production planning and execution throughout each project
  • Contribute to idea generation and make recommendations on how to enhance the final output
  • Deliver multiple production schedules from start to finish, ensuring these schedules are harmonious across all live projects
  • Understand the risk and challenges of projects and be able to respond to and proactively manage solutions with the team
  • Identify and mitigate all legal, clearance, risk and intellectual property issues
  • Reconcile budgets and lead project retrospectives to continually improve processes

What you’ll have:

  • Experience as a Production Coordinator/Producer from a similar environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to bring a positive and calm attitude to problem-solving and sometimes tough situations
  • You’ll be a team player who takes pride in what they do and can’t wait to get stuck into the nitty-gritty
  • You’ll be full of ambition, with a proactive approach and high levels of initiative, energy, accountability, attention to detail and creativity
  • You will have respect for the creative process, and play your crucial role within it
  • You’ll know that production isn’t always smooth sailing, so you’ll be well versed in working well under pressure, and flexible enough to cope with rapidly changing situations
